Health Science Medical Assisting Pathway, AAS

Technical Degree
The Associate of Applied Science degree is a career path for persons who have completed the Medical Assisting certificate program. The 60 credit hour degree is designed to meet continuing education goals, transfer into four-year university health care administration or allied health programs, and to attain possible promotion from entry-level to advanced-level clinical positions.
Length 2 Years
If you're studying full-time, you can complete the 60 credits for this program in five terms, including a summer term.

Health Science Medical Assisting, Certificate of Technology

The Certificate of Technology prepares you for the degree program, an entry-level career, or advancement in your current career. As more and more physicians open clinics and care facilities everyday, the need for medical assistants continues to grow.
